Wow… well that’s a fine how do you do! Happy New Year Woman! I wasn’t expecting to see Hitler cradling his poo bear this morning on your site! So, do you think Winnie the Poo or the Nazi’s had greater influence on the world? I haven’t added to my stitched in stone blog since a bazillion years ago, but it’s nice to come back and see you dance! ❤️

Hello! Happy New Year! Welcome back! Thank you!
And how DO you do? It HAS been a while. I miss seeing your work.
What an interesting interpretation, striking image, and provocative question you’ve brought with you! These could form the basis of another poem, a dissertation, a book, or a multimedia collage.
The operative energy that applies for me when I read this poem is appreciation for the intricate complexity of the human hand and astounding potential held in the living palm. What will our influence be?

I love that you hold the page like a sutra in your photo. The questions posed through a dancers posed hand is poetry in motion… even in still life photography! Provocative and even Robert Frost-y? The Road Less Travelled had great influence…
I’m doing good and so is my husband, but I don’t have anything new to share on Stitched in Stone. How many love poems does the world need? I felt like I was glorifying marriage at the wrong time… when women rights had gotten narrowed state to state, and the definition of marriage became binary and polarized by GOP once again and with books being censored… I don’t know why, but I felt like my work was trivial and men would want it that way. I haven’t given up being creative, but I haven’t figured out if Stitched in Stone matters. I hope that doesn’t sound like low self esteem… That’s not how I mean it.
Anyhow… I love your blog every time I visit. Thank you for YOUR influence. Your work has always made me feel inspired.
❤️🙏🏻

Robert Frost-y! ⛄️ Indeed!
Gosh I’ve missed you. I don’t know the exact number of love poems the world needs, but the answer must surely be “More!” Lasting love is rare and beautiful and glorious! How could it not matter?

Aw… thanks. I always gravitate back to you, cuz I need to know how you are and let sum of your magic rub off on me. I do carry you in my heart so I will consider your wisdom about love poems! I really am blissed to see you dancing! I love dance sooooo much. It made me want to work on my quilted-dance-step “floor” I was once embarking on… I was “choreographing” a quilt pattern… but I stopped in the middle of the project… I don’t sew well, but I might get better trying to complete the work! Thanks for sharing your beautiful little space book. ☃️💞
