The fairy ring showed up yesterday. Last year it erupted on August 20, only it went unrecognized as a ring because of its size. This year the entire circle is obvious, tethered as it is to the sycamore tree.

The radius is longer than the tape measure, so a girl has to do math and calculations involving pi. 🤓The circumference is just over 84 feet.
There is marjoram and thyme growing nearby, but the ring’s inner sanctum is not to be traversed. A girl who is already prone to exhaustive dancing has to draw the line somewhere. There are principles to be upheld. 🧚🏼

A truer sign of health in wilderness relationship was never to be had! Mushrooms under specified trees are balance. Good signs for u. 🙂

Indeed!! The last month I’ve disappeared inside Merlin Sheldrake’s book about fungi, “Entangled Life.” I may have become a little obsessed with mushrooms! (…as if the last few posts don’t make that obvious).

It’s OK! I have been taking photos of mushrooms for a couple of years for my mom… as well as purchasing glass blown ornaments or old world ornaments for her as gifts! I even bought a plushie shroom for her. 🙂 She loves it. (Like a teddy bear in case that wasn’t clear) and I will definitely tell her of Sheldrake’s book about fungi!!!! Thank you. I never know what to get her but now I think I do!

I hope your mom reads the book and loves it every bit as much as I do!
