Gorgeous.
Ah but his jealousy and selfish desire is cruel to him.
Her beauty and dance is only love. What a gift if only he would not long to possess her!
What a wonderful post! Thank U!
I was reading some greek to roman myths to try and understand Shakespeare’s “tempest” and also some William Blake and poet Mina Loy came within my radar… and I swear, you just provided a missing ingredient!
I adore you and am grateful for your blog.

Oh! Yay! Thank you for the intriguing and kind comment! I have never read any of Mina Loy’s work! Where should I start?

I’m currently reading The Lost Lunar Baedeker Poems (Selected and edited by Roger L. Conover) But here is a link to the first poem I read by her called Songs to Joannes. Actually I read a condensed version of it first called “Love Songs” which was amazing but kinda changed the whole meaning because it was only 13 parts instead of 34. I ended up preferring the long version. The book contains both versions, however, with the shorter version appearing at the very end. Anyhow, she’s quite amazing as a writer and artist. I hope you enjoy her too! http://writing.upenn.edu/epc/authors/loy/poem_loy_Songs_to_Joannes.html#loy_joannes_title
