I realized this week that I’ve had a definite shift in perspective. On Tuesday, after a successful 13 day stretch of vegetarianism, I called in an ordered for a take-out salad.  It was supposed to be meatless, of course.  When I arrived home with my salad I discovered there was chicken and bacon in it. Not wanting to waste the sacrified life, I ate it.  It was not appetizing.  This is in stark contrast to the past “accidents,” that I must admit, I secretly savored.

So after two months of trying I’m back to the start: Day 1 of vegetarianism.  Maybe I’ll manage to get past 13 days before the end of the year.
